Operational Test OTE - Throttle Pressure Test

  1. Connect Pressure Gauge to the throttle pressure inspection port on the automatic transaxle.
  2. Connect the 88 Digital Multimeter as a tachometer.
  3. Turn key ON, engine running (KOER) .
  4. Engage the parking brake.
  5. Depress the brake pedal and shift the gearshift lever into (D).
  6. With the brake firmly applied, steadily increase the engine rpm and quickly read the throttle pressure. Throttle pressure should be between 50 - 110 kPa (7.2 - 17 psi) (idle); 410 - 510 kPa (59 - 75 psi) (stall speed). Refer to the Throttle Pressure Evaluation Chart.
