INTRODUCTION
On some 2009 Altima and Maxima vehicles, the left hand rear suspension knuckle may not be manufactured to specification, which may result in noise or vibration under certain circumstances. Although no safety issue is presented, Nissan is conducting this service campaign to identify and replace those affected units. This service will be performed at no cost for parts or labor.
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Nissan has assigned identification number PC005 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
DEALER RESPONSIBILITY
Dealers are to inspect each vehicle falling within range of this campaign that enters the service department, and if necessary, perform the indicated knuckle replacement. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
