ALTIMA COUPE; DRIVER POWER SEAT TRACK BINDS, OR WILL NOT MOVE

APPLIED VEHICLE:
2008-2009 Altima Coupe (CL32)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

The driver power seat does not move forward or backward.

OR

Only one side of the seat moves or binds when trying to move it forward or backward.

NOTE:
A noise may be heard when trying to move the seat forward or backward.

ACTIONS:

Replace both power seat flex cable assemblies.

Synchronize the seat tracks.

Replace the flex cable protector cover.

^ Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE section of this bulletin for repair procedure.

^ Use parts contained in the Horizontal Flex Cable ASM Kit listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

NOTE:
Do not replace the seat bottom or seat lower assembly for this incident, if it should occur.
