Plymouth
Voyager, Heater Problem
Q: I have a '94 Plymouth Voyager
with a "weird" heater problem. When the vehicle is running but
sitting still; the blower unit only puts out cool or cold air. Once the
vehicle starts moving forward: do I get some heat. Even at that point;
the blower output seems to be diminished; and the temperature doesn't
get very hot. Any ideas?..
A: Is
the coolant at the correct level? Is the radiator cap in good condition?
Is the thermostat working correctly? Always start with the basics when
dealing with a no heat condition in a vehicle. Low coolant level, a bad
radiator cap, or faulty thermostat are common causes of poor heat conditions
in virtually any vehicle.
