Plymouth/Dodge,
No Real Difference
Q/A: A short time ago a reader asked about a van to replace her
aging lemon of a Dodge Caravan. She had this love hate thing. She loved
the space, seating, the good visibility, ride and handling, but hated
the mechanical problems that plagued the vehicle. I wasn’t much help,
I wrote about my Plymouth Voyager that has all the same great features
and has hardly given me any trouble at all. After receiving some letters
and e-mails on the subject I realized what I failed to realize. Not everyone
knows that a Plymouth Voyager and Dodge Caravan are brother and sister
vehicles (same factory different door). They also have an older sibling
that is called a Town and Country. To the guys and gals that repair these
vans all 3 are basically the same, though the Town and Country comes with
more fake wood paneling.
