'93 Saturn, Automatic Belt Tensioner Replacement
Q:
My 93 Saturn
has a bad belt tensioner. I checked in my repair manual and the recommended
way of replacing the tensioner was pretty extreme. It calls for removing
the power steering pump and the upper right motor mount. I want to attempt
this fix myself and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A:
The automatic belt
tensioner on your Saturn is not an easy job. I would not suggest doing
it yourself unless you have a good tool assortment and a spare vehicle.
Why a spare vehicle? Youll more than likely find that you dont
have just what you need to do the job and will have to drive to the parts
or tools store. Be patient and start early on Saturday
