HINGE ADJUSTMENT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR

  

  1. Remove the luggage compartment rear cover.

  

  1. Remove the luggage compartment door striker plate.

  

  1. Measure the clearance between the luggage compartment door and the body.

  

  1. Measure the panel alignment height between the luggage compartment door and the body.

  

  1. If alignment is not within specification, loosen the luggage compartment door hinge to luggage compartment door nuts enough to permit movement.

  

  1. Reposition the luggage compartment door from side to side or up and down as needed.

  

  1. Tighten the luggage compartment door hinge to luggage compartment door nuts and recheck the alignment and fit.

  

  1. Install the luggage compartment door striker plate.

  

  1. Install the luggage compartment rear cover.
  2. Adjust the luggage compartment door striker plate; refer to Striker Adjustment. See: Front Door Striker\Adjustments
