CAUTION :

  • The hoist must only contact all four vehicle contact points. Position the hoist pads so that they are in contact with the pinch welds.
  • Do not install brake discs that are less than the minimum thickness specified. Do not machine a brake disc below the minimum thickness specification.
  • Do not use a bench lathe to machine brake discs.
  • Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts.
  • Do not carry out the Engine Load Test for more than five seconds or damage to the transmission or transaxle can result Block the front and rear wheels.
  • Limit engine running time to one minute or less with belts removed or serious engine damage will result.
  • Never probe moving parts.
  • Do not hold the steering wheel against the stops for more than three to five seconds at a time. Damage to the power steering pump will occur.
  • Make sure the system is warmed up to normal operating temperature, as thermal expansion can be the cause of a strain problem.
