NOTE: Adjust the luggage compartment door hinge torsion bars with the luggage compartment door closed and latched. The standard setting allows the door to open with ease and little resistance.
Set the LH torsion bar on the inner notch for the standard setting.
Set the RH torsion bar on the outer notch for the standard setting.
To increase the tension when closing the luggage compartment door, set both torsion bars on the outer notch; to decrease, set both torsion bars on the inner notch.
