This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose the following:

  • Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (9B989)
  • Binding and sticking Throttle Linkage
  • Harness Circuits: TP, SIG RTN, VREF, Vehicle Power (VPWR), Power Ground (PWR GND)
  • Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (12A650)
