The sliding roof panel is electrically operated. The glass panel can be opened or closed by depressing the sliding roof panel switch on the overhead console.
When the sliding roof panel is in the fully closed position, the rear portion can be raised to provide ventilation by rocking the switch rearward. The sliding roof panel can be closed by rocking the switch forward.
When the switch is rocked rearward and held, the rear portion of the glass panel raises and moves rearward above the roof panel.
The sliding roof panel can be moved to the fully closed position by rocking the switch forward.
An opening shield resides below the sliding roof panel. It can be operated manually without affecting the operation of the sliding roof panel.
