  Instrument Cluster Removal and Installation  
 

REMOVAL

  

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  

  1. Remove the instrument panel upper finish panel insert.

  

  1. Remove the nut on the back side of the hood latch release handle and position it aside.

  

  1. Remove the screw and the instrument panel steering column cover.

  

  1. Disconnect the light switch rheostat resistor electrical connector.

  

  1. Remove the instrument panel upper finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the instrument panel upper finish panel.

  

  1. Disconnect the power mirror switch electrical connector.

  

  1. Remove the four screws and position the instrument cluster.

  

  1. Disconnect the three electrical connectors and remove the instrument cluster.

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal Procedure.

NOTE : When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
