Sensor - Rear Anti-Lock Brake

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  

  1. Disconnect the anti-lock brake sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

  

  1. Remove the rear anti-lock brake sensor wire grommet.

  

  1. Disconnect the rear anti-lock brake sensor wire from the wiring harness upper clip.

  

  1. Disconnect the rear anti-lock brake sensor wire from the wiring harness lower clip.

  

  1. Remove the rear anti-lock brake sensor.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the rear anti-lock brake sensor.

Installation

  

  1. NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn its strategy.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
