Tubes
Removal
- NOTE: Place a drain pan under the fluid cooler inlet tubes to catch the fluid.
Disconnect the upper fluid cooler tube banjo bolt from the radiator and discard the two copper crush washers.
- Disconnect the upper fluid cooler tube from the transmission.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the LH splash shield.
- Remove the splash shield bolts.
- Remove the LH splash shield.
- Remove the RH splash shield.
- Remove the splash shield bolts.
- Remove the RH splash shield.
- Disconnect the lower fluid cooler tube banjo bolt from the radiator and discard the two copper crush washers.
- Remove the lower fluid cooler tube from the transmission.
- Remove the fluid cooler tube bracket bolts and remove the fluid cooler tubes from the vehicle.
Installation
- NOTE: After installation check fluid level.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
