Description
BCM controls the various electrical components and simultaneously supplies power according to the power supply position.
BCM checks the power supply position internally.

DTC DETECTION LOGIC
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
Turn ignition switch ON under the following conditions, and wait for at least 1 second.
CVT selector lever is in the P or N position
Release brake pedal
Check "Self diagnostic result" with CONSULT-III. Is DTC detected?
YES >> Go to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO >> Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK IGNITION RELAY POWER SUPPLY
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect ignition relay.
Check voltage between ignition relay harness connector and ground under the following conditions.
Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> GO TO 2
CHECK IGNITION RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM harness connector.
Check continuity between ignition relay harness connector (A) and BCM harness connector (B).
Check continuity between ignition relay harness connector (A) and ground.
Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 6
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
CHECK IGNITION RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Check continuity between ignition relay harness connector and ground.
Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
CHECK IGNITION RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT-2
Check voltage between ignition relay harness connector and ground.
Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
CHECK IGNITION RELAY Refer to Component Inspection (Ignition Relay).
Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 6
NO >> Replace ignition relay.
