2008 - 2010 ALTIMA COUPE SEAT BACK REMOVAL PROCEDURE

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the front seat back board needs to be removed for any reason, use the Service Procedure in this bulletin.

  

PARTS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE

NOTES:
^ Use this procedure for the front driver or front passenger seat.

^ The photos in this procedure are of the passenger seat. The driver seat is the same.

CAUTION:
Use covers as needed to protect interior surfaces from scratches or damage.

1. Move / adjust the seat bottom and seat back to the full forward positions.

  

2. Remove the seat back finisher as follows:

^ 2 top hooks

^ 2 side clips

^ 2 bottom clips

  

a. Reach under the seat and disconnect the 2 elastic straps for the toe flap.

  

b. Insert your fingers behind the bottom corner of the finisher.

c. Locate the bottom clip with your fingers.

d. Pull the finisher next to the clip to unsnap the clip.

e. Repeat b, c and d for the other bottom clip.

  

f. Insert your fingers into the side of the finisher.

g. Locate the "side" clip.

  

h. Support the finisher with the palm of your hand.

i. Pull the finisher next to the clip to unsnap the clip.

j. Repeat f to i for the other "side" clip.

  

k. Pull down on the finisher to remove it.
