REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative and positive battery terminal.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air ducts.
3. Disconnect the following:

• ECM
• TCM

4. Remove the battery tray. For Sedan Refer to See: Battery\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement\Sedan. For Coupe Refer to See: Battery\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement\Coupe.
5. Disconnect the starter motor harness connectors.
6. Remove the two starter motor bolts, using power tools.
7. Remove the starter motor.
