AMP ON SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Description

When the audio system is turned on, a voltage signal is supplied from the AV control unit to the BOSE speaker amp. When this signal is received, the BOSE speaker amp. will turn on.

AMP ON SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK AMP ON SIGNAL (BOSE SPEAKER AMP)

  

  1. Turn audio system ON.
  2. Check voltage between BOSE speaker amp. harness connector B121 terminal 60 and ground.

60 - Ground : More than approx. 6.5 V

Is voltage greater than 6.5V?
YES >> Inspection END.
NO >> GO TO 2
2.CHECK AMP ON SIGNAL (AV CONTROL UNIT)

  

Check voltage between AV control unit harness connector M47 terminal 16 and ground.

16 - Ground : More than approx. 6.5 V

Is voltage approximately 6.5 volts?
YES >> Repair harness or connector.
NO >> Replace AV control unit. Refer to See: Radio/Stereo\Service and Repair\Audio Unit\Bose Audio With Navigation.
