POWER WINDOW MOTOR

DRIVER SIDE : Description

Door glass moves UP/DOWN by receiving the signal from main power window and door lock/unlock switch.

DRIVER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure

Power Window Motor LH Circuit Check

  1. CHECK MAIN POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL

  

  1. Disconnect power window motor LH.
  2. Turn ignition switch ON.
  3. Check voltage between power window motor LH connector and ground.

  

Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES >> GO TO 2
NO >> Replace main power window and door lock/unlock switch. Refer to See: Power Window Switch\Service and Repair\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe. After that, refer to See: Programming and Relearning\Power Supply And Ground Circuit\Power Window Main Switch\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe.

  1. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY

  

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch and power window motor LH.
  3. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector (A) and power window motor connector LH (B).

  

  1. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector (A) and ground.

  

Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MOTOR Check power window motor LH. Refer to See: Component Inspection\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe.

Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to See: Testing and Inspection\Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview\Service Information For Electrical Incident\Intermittent Incident.
NO >> Replace power window motor LH. Refer to See: Front Door Window Regulator\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement. After that, refer to See: Programming and Relearning\Power Window Motor\Driver Side\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe.
